The memories are free…

but the toys might be a bit pricey!

It looked like thousands of toys, many in their original wrappings, were being auctioned last weekend at Grandpa’s Event Center in Cannon Falls.

Not only did the memories abound when you looked at them but you could imagine the “joy of the hunt” as each piece had been found during the preceding years.

Taking a trip down memory lane…

Do you remember thinking that the velvet Elvis "wall-hanging"

in the background was something really neat? (I still kind of do!)

What about little cars to play with in the sand?

Dirt was even better because it stayed in the tracks you had made.

And some kids had “big” cars to drive around in!

And other cars were just to dream about!
